A story of bovine encounter, at mount Comero
June 25, 2011
An encounter with bovine herds during hiking have generally multiple facets. Certainly, it is an event to be taken with cauution: free range bovines are big animals, with often unpredictable behaviour.
This time I encountered them at mount Comero meadows; a small herds with some cows, calves and the bull. One of the females was not happy at all of my presence and started an annoyed moo; luckily, she was pretty far from me. The bull, on the contrary, was rather indifferent and this was very reassuring; so I could see the amusing side of the thing, getting the inspiration for this story.
Here above, the picture story
(1) “Vacca”: in Italian, a cow, but also a jargon to indicate a aesy woman
(2) “have the attributes” a literal translation of an Italian expression indicating a not very determined male
(3) In Italian “cornuto” (one with horns) is someone frequqntly, generally and unawares betrayed by partner
